My research interests include developing Terahertz optoelectronic systems for applications in imaging, spectroscopy, sensing, and communications. Prior to joining IHCT in 2018, my research activities include III-V semiconductor based quantum cascade lasers and Bloch oscillator sources; semiconducting and superconducting YBCO compound based thermal detectors; integrated diffraction optics based on Fourier gratings and micro-Fresnel lenses. My current research activities focus on investigating novel silicon integrated optoelectronic components enabling generation-detection of broadband THz radiation, broadband THz optoelectronic instrumentations enabling free-space and on-chip testing.
