ERC Advanced Grant for Prof. Ullrich Pfeiffer: Funding for DIRECTS project

Prof. Dr. Ullrich Pfeiffer, chair holder of the Institute for High Frequency & Communication Technology, is the first scientist at University of Wuppertal to receive one of the highly endowed Advanced Grants from the European Research Council (ERC) for his project "DIRECTS". The prize supports the most innovative research projects of excellent scientists for five years with up to 2.5 million euros each.

Prof. Ullrich Pfeiffer is one of 209 scientists who were successful in the ERC competition for Advanced Grants 2020. A total of 2678 applications were submitted in last year's call.
